Meet the Pets!

Here are the furry members of my multi-pet household, each bringing their own quirks, cuddles (if allowed), and so, so much personality.

Holly:

Black cat holding a toy to her mouth with her paws

Holly is my dad’s cat and the elder of the crew. Most days she can be found curled up on her blankie on the couch, unless she’s busy hunting down her favourite catnip-stuffed toy. She may only be running on a single brain cell, but it’s more than enough for her to master the art of lounging, playing, and demanding attention.

Ivy

Black cat with a small white patch on her chest, sitting on a rug and wearing a pink collar with a bell.

Ivy is my cat and the younger of the two. I fell in love with her the moment I saw her picture on the Toronto Cat Rescue website, drawn to the tiny white spot on her chest. She was timid at first and spent two weeks hiding under my bed, but now she curls up by my legs while I work and loves to watch cars go by from the front window.

Robbie

Robbie, short for Robertina, joined my household through a private rehoming. She has taught me so much about patience and how to tune into subtlety with her gentle bunny ways. Of course, she also has moments where she feels more like a dog in a bunny suit, hopping into the center of everything.

Angus

Angus is my ethically bred Syrian hamster, a long-haired dilute cinnamon born in October 2023. He has perfected the art of begging for treats from his Grandpaw and Gruncle, who spoil him endlessly. Proudly holding the title of the world’s most pampered grandhamster, he truly lives a life of luxury.
